Cable Woes

It is wonderful to walk into your house after a long day of work and snuggle up to watch tv.
Right?

Well not for us... We have not had cable since the beginning of July. Now I will explain that we have had at the very least 5 people out to fix the problem, a new line put in from the street to our house, a new box put in, refreshed a box 50+ times and spent countless hours on the phone with customer service.

So we are done, we are officially not customers of Cox Cable.

Now, it wasn't that easy... Why would it be. I spent about 45 minutes just trying to cancel our service, because there is just nothing they can do for us. And they wondered why we wanted to cancel. The customer service person must have tried 15 different ways for me to keep the cable until I finally said, you can't fix the problem, I like to watch tv, period. No more service from you! Well then I also proceeded to cancel our telephone and internet service with them, and that was the tip of the iceberg. Why? How can you? Well you can't provide service in one area why should I keep them all?

Unfortunately we are very disappointed as there is only one choice of cable company.
So satellite HERE WE COME!!!!
