I have had some trying days at work recently. Although I refuse to go into detail, many of which you already know, I have decided to make the best of it for the time being.

Tonight I am to attend the Chairman's Award winners dinner. Yes, I am one of the winners for the Chairman's Award. For the most part I do not feel like a winner, but for once I will go and accept the honor of being a winner. I guess if this had happened at a different time I would have been more excited. But enough of this...

I had trouble blogging yesterday... so here is what I was going to say.

Dave and I had the most amazing weekend. We decided to take the weekend off. No yard work, barely any house work, no folding laundry, and no stress. Sometimes I think we are so in-sync we think exactly alike, we just looked at each other and said: "don't we deserve a weekend off." So off we went to sit by the pool with our books all weekend, it was one of the nicest days I have had. On Saturday night we had date night. Sometimes, I find it amazing that time with Dave goes by really fast, yet whenever I am not with him time drags by. I am constantly entertained by his humor and his interesting perspective on life.
