Many many things
I only wish the day had more hours, at leats for this week. I must admit I am no longer used to the late nights at work, so I have been spoiled, and now I am back to them. Was there a point when I enjoyed this? Nawwww never. I still don't.
So today I am trying to take it a little slower and find my desk. I know it is here somewhere...
Fortunately it is Friday and I am very happy for that alone.
It was 2002 and I had been working many long hours when I decided to join a local volleyball league. Those of you who know me well enough to know volleyball is my passion, and probably always will be. However, in 2002 I had a nasty fall one night and ended up in pain. Needless to say 2 knee surgeries later and 2 years later, I thought I would never be the same.
I believe it was August 2004 when I joined Active Duty Fitness. This is the "bootcamp" that I still to this day go. It not only has completely changed how I feel about regular exercise, it has converted me into a morning person. I have met wonderful people who suffer with me every morning and some excellent trainers (that are not out to kill me), who make me a stronger person every day.
This week I found out that I need to have knee surgery, and although it broke my heart and I am coming to terms with it. I will be back to ADF as soon as I can. So wish me luck, later on when I actually go through with it.
More to come later, as I have made friend with the three little deer.
